M¤{§h4;é21¥11· Be it enacted bg the Senate and House Q f Representatives of the United [rrivm,‘Nc.z55.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Postmaster-General $f;§}{‘ G{uF“*;;osm be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to credit the postal ac- accountscount of Arthur G. Fisk, postmaster at San Francisco, California, with the sum of thirteen thousand two hundred and twenty-nine dollars and seventy-nine cents for postal funds, stamps, and other stam d paper, and with the further sum of eight hundred and twenty-five dollars and eighty-six cents for money-order funds, on account of losses resulting from earthquakes and fire April eighteenth, nineteen hundred and six. Sec. 2. That there be, and there is hereby, appropriated, out of any Appropriationmoney in the Treasury not otherwise appro r1ated,.the sum of fourteen thousand and fifty-five dollars and sixty-Eve cents for the purposes specified in this Act. Nc-2564 States of America in Congress assembled, ifiiit the Secretary of the l1;'m¤kVl;· iiiucchiulp Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Frank mi.§Z$ii¤ & idrgu W. Hutchins, of Vinalhaven, Maine, administrator of the goods and E“‘°'“°“· estate which were of Edgar Emerson, deceased, late of Penobscot, in the county of Hancock, State of Maine, for the benefit of Margaret Ann Hutchins, of said Penobscot, his surviving mother, he having left no widow or children, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one thousand eighty dollars, said sum being in full for all claims against the United States on account of the death of said Edgar Emerson, he having been killed by the United States troops at Fort Barrancas, Florida, through the negligence and carelessness of said troops, and without any negligence or carelessness on his part contributing thereto, while said troops were engaged in target practice, he being at the time employed on a fishing vessel. Approved, March 4, 1911. CHAP. 289.-An Act For the relief of Alexander Wilkie, Msfgliggégigll. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, 1%.2.57.] States of America in Congress assembled, That in the administration g,*,§‘{§§§;’§;Q§f},k;$;,_ of the pension laws and of all laws granting relief and privileges to rected. honorably discharged soldiers who served during the Civil War, Alexander Wilkie, formerly second lieutenant Company C, Tenth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, shall be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a member of said organization to date December thirty-first, eighteen hundred and sixty-four: Provided, That other §_f,°*`§§,Or pmion than as above set forth, no bounty, pay, pension, or other emolument ccc.
