CHAP. 56.-—An Act To amend an Act entitled "An Act to provide aid to State ""FE‘{*'3_“;’g1%_°?°· or Territorial homes for the support of disabled B01d1GrB and sailors of the United States," approved August 27, 1888, as amended March 2, 1889. ’ Be it enacted the Senate and House of Re esentativee of the United Te States of AmerhiIa in Congress assembled, Till,-at section 1 of an Act h•?¤§¤i° ii: entitle "An Act to provide aid to State or Territorial homes for S°v¤ii°is,pp.m,ws. the support of disabled soldiers and sailors of the United_States/’ °"*°“**°'* approved August 27, 1888, as amended March 2, 1889, is hereby amended to read as follows: radqmuqm. "That all States or Territories which have established, or which °x§jn'§*°°_§g§;,'{$a§;f’ shall hereafter establish, State homes for disabled soldiers and sailors of the United States who served in the Civil War or in any previous or subsequent war who are disabled by age, disease, or otherwise, and by reason of such disability are incapable of earning a living, rovided such disability was not incurred m service against the Umteg States, shall be (paid for every such disabled soldier or sailor who may be Am°m,w,,,,,_,_ admitte and cared for in such home at the rate of $120 per annum.
