Akin, who, while in the discharge ofyhis dut as a de uty United States marshal, was killed by a band of renegadii Ute Indians · while he was attempting to arrest one Tse-Ne-Gat, a Ute Indian charged with murder, on the 21st da of Februa , 1915 the sum of $1,095, on account of the murder ofy her said husrhand while in the regular discharge of his duties in the service of the Government of the United States.
