For support and education of two hundred pupils at the Indian www <>¤¤v¤¤ school at ruxton Canyon, Arizona, and for pay of superintendent, ` $40,000; for general repairs and improvements, and construction and equipment of new buildings, $25,000, to be immediately available; in all, $65,000. The Secreta of the Interior is hereby authorized to establish Sc'£!¤¤{>·i¤¤¤ B¤<¤¤V¤l¤ and maintain lz-he former Fort Apache military post as an Indian Eggiblishod ae rut boarding school for the purpose of carrying out treaty obligations, AP“"°· to be known as the Theodore Roosevelt Indian School. To enable the Secretary of the Interior to carry into eifect the §:1v:u{¤;;du¤“,m provisions of the sixth article of the treaty of June 1, 1868, between v¤1.1s,p.m. the United States and the Navajo Nation or Tribe of Indians, proclaimed August 12, 1868, whereby the United States agrees to provide school facilities for the children of the Navajo Tribe of Indians, $200,000: Prmrided, That the said Secretary may expend §Y?m§,,‘f'{;¤,,,,, um funds, in his discretion, in establishing or enlarging day or industrial schools.
