HARDING, President of W- 3*- l>·225· the United States of America, by authority of the Kwer in me vested by section two of the act of Congress entitled, “Act for the preservation of American antiquities,” approved Jnme eEh!th, nineteen hundred and six (34 Stat., 225) do proclaim that the is hereby reserved and set apart as a national monument to be known as the Fossil Cycad National Monument all that Igece or parcel of land in the County of Fall River, State of South akota, shown upon the _ diagram hereto annexed and made a part hereof, and more particu- D°°"”P“°'*· larly described as follows: southwest quarter of the northeast quarter, southeast quarter, east half of the southwest quarter and southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section thirt -five, township seven south, range three east of the Black Hills Miiridian. `

to appropriate, injure, estroy or remove any of the fossils of this monument and not to locate or settle upon any of the lands thereof.
