Be it enacted by°the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States og America in Congress assembled, That the Secretailiy §§§$g§"g{h,h,r¤ of War is here y authorized to rant to the Southern Pacific Ra` - Pacmc Railroad Comroad Company, a corporation ofg the States of California, Arizona, gig; lzgegssgtcgggdg; and New Mexico, its successors and assigns, a right of way for A"‘· railroad and telegraph urposes over and across the levee built by the United States on dire Gila River near its junction with the Colorado River at Yuma, Arizona, including the right to construct Promo and maintain embankments and other works thereon: Provided, That commim. the grant shall be subject to such stipulations as, in the judgment of the Secretary of War, will insure the maintenance of said levee without further cost to the United States.
