PARCEL POST CONVENTION BETVVEEN THE UNITED _STATES OF AMERICA AND ’1‘HE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS. For the purpose of concludin arrangements for the exchange of ,i§Q°$§*§h‘?f·’§,Q §°§‘{§'$Z parcel-post packgges between tie United States of America (in- ****1;***- bl cluding Alaska, awaii, Porto Rico, Guam, Samoa, and the Virgin mm °‘ Islands of the United States) and the Kingdom of The Netherlands, the undersigned, Harry S. New, Postmaster General of the United States of America, and Ir. M. H. Damme, Director—General of Posts and Telegraphs of The Netherlands, by virtue of authority vested in them, ave agreed upon the following articles: 1. Lirnits of wears and sae. .,;;;·;·:$· °' M Md 1. No arcel shall exceed twenty·two pounds (ten kilograms; in Sm- weight, tliree feet six inches (one hundred and five centimeters in lencgth, or six feet (one hundredand eighty centimeters) in length an girth combined. 2. As regards the exact calculation of the weight and dimensions w°‘*"‘· of parcels, the view of the despatching office shall be accepted, except in cases of obvious error. II. Postage and Fees. P°Sm° °mH°°s` 1. The Administration of origin is entitled to collect from the ,,,?d‘f,}.l°°"°“ "°m sender of each parcel such postage, and, in case of registered parcels mailed in the United States of America and insured parcels mailed in either the .United States of America or the Kinfgdom of The Netherlands, such registration and insurance fees and ees for return receipts and requests for information as to the disposal of a parcel made after it Fhas been posted, as may from time to time be pre- scribed by its regulations. » P t Y 2; Except -in the case .of returned or redirected parcels, the postage r°°°ym°° ` and such of the fees mentioned in the preceding section as are applicable, must be prepaid.
