Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Ken tu cky may United States of America in Congress assembled, That the consent bridge, at Arat. of Congress is hereby granted to the State highway commission, Commonwealth of Kentucky, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Cumberland River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Arat, Cum- Construction .

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Unit ed S tates of A meri ca in Cong ress asse mbled, That the cons ent of Congress is hereby granted to the State highway commission, Comm onwe alth of Kent uck y, t o co nstr uct, ma inta in, and oper ate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Cumberland River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Center Point, Monro e Cou nty, Kent ucky, in a ccor dance with the prov ision s of an Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the con- ditions and limitations contained in this Act . SEC . 2. If tolls are charged for the use of such bridge, the rates of toll shall be so adjusted as to provide a fund sufficient to pay the reasonable cost of maintaining, repairing, and operating the bridge and its approaches under econ omical management, and to provide a sinking fund sufficient to amortize the cost of the bridge and its approaches, including reasonable interest and financing cost, as soon as possible under reasonable charges, but within a period of not to exceed twenty years from the completion thereof.
