CALVIN COOLIDGE By THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, the President of the United States, under an Act of Congress approved March 2, 1917, entitled "An Act to provide a civil government for Porto Rico, and for other purposes," is authorized to convey to the people of Porto Rico from time to time, in his dis- (,retion, such lands, buildings, or interests in lands or other property now owned by the United States and within the territorial limits of Porto Rico 8S in his opinion are no longer needed for purposes of the United States; and WHEREAS, certain portions of the reservations heretofore set apart for military purposes within the Municipality of San Juan, Porto Rico, are no longer needed for the purposes of the United States; and WHEREAS, such lands are desired by the Municipality of San Juan, Porto Rico in the development or construction of a street con- necting the public road or boulevard within the limits of said Munici- pality, referred to in Proclamation No. 1807, dated June 11, 1927, with Ponce de Leon Avenue, and may be advantageously used for said purpose b,! the people of Porto Rico: Landa tran.qferred.to NOW THEREFORE I Calvin Coolidge President of the United people of Porto RICO '- f'"h _. D . G . O . No. 97, July 7, 1923), and running thence: Along said boundary line of the United States Military Reservation, the following two (2) courses and distancea: (1) North one degree fifty-foUl' minutes West (N. 1 0 54' W.), a.. distance of eighty-one and eight tenths feet (81.8') to United States Monument No. 62; (2) North aeventy-six degrees thirty-seven minutes West (N. 76 0 37' W.), a distance of forty-two and six hundredths feet (42.06') to a point in a sixty-one degree four minute (61 0 04') curve to the left, having a radius of ninety-eight and four hundred and twenty-five thousandths feet (98.425') (thirty (30) meters), tangent to said curve
