General expenses . For t ransportati on and inc idental ex penses of officers a nd clerks o f the Bure au of Indi an Affairs when trav eling on o fficial du ty ; for telegraph and telephone toll messages on business pertaining to the I ndian Service sent a nd rece ived by the Bu reau of Indian Affair s a t Washingt on, and fo r other ne cessary ex penses of the Indian Serv- ice for which no other appropriation is available, $20,000, and in Balance 2 ilable . a dditio n there to the unexpen ded bal ance fo r this purpose for th e f iscal year 1931 is c ontinued a vailable f or the sam e purpose for the fiscal year 1932 . For expenses necessary to the purchase of goods and supplies for the Indian Service, including inspection, pay of necessary employees, and all other expenses connected therewith, including advertising, storage, and transportation of Indian goods and supplies, $700,000 : P rovided, That no part of this appropriation shall be used in pay- ment for any services except bill therefor is rendered within one year from the time the service is performed . Judges . For pay of judges of Indian courts where tribal relations now exist, at rates to be fixe d by the Co mmisisoner of Indian Affairs, $18,000 . For pay of Indian police, including chiefs of police at not to e xceed Police . $70 per month each and privates at not to exceed $50 per month each, to be employed in maintaining order, and for purchase of equipments and supplies, $163,000 .

Suppression of liquor For the suppression of the traffic in intoxicating liquors and dele- traffic, etc. terious drugs, including peyote, among Indians, $100,000 .

Agency buildings.
