CHAP. 174.-An Act To amend section 366 of the Revised Statutes . [Public, No . 133 .] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That section 366 of the Re vised Statut es of the Un ited S tates (secti on 315 , titl e 5, United States Code) be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows " SEC. 366. Every attorney or counselor who is specially retained, under the authority of the Department of Justice, to assist in the Commission, oat h, trial of any case in which the Government is interested, shall receive etc • a commission from the head of such department, as a special assistant to the Attorney General, or to some-one of the district attorneys, or as a special attorney, as the nature of the appointment may require ; and shall take the oa th req uired by law to be taken by th e dist rict att orneys , and shall be sub ject t o all the li abilit ies im posed upon oath not re quired them by law. Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the ninth paragraph of section 9 of the Federal Reserve Act (United States Code, title 12, section 328), as amended, be further amended by inserting therein, immediately before the proviso now contained therein, the following : " Provided, That the Federal Reserve Board, in its discretion and subject to such conditions as it may prescribe, may waive such six months' notice in individual cases and may permit any such State bank or trust company to withdraw from membership in a Federal reserve bank prior to the expiration of six months from the date of the written notice of its intention to withdraw ."
