March 3, 1927, entitle d "An Act providin g for th e revisio n and ame nded . p. 101 ' printing of the index to the Federal Statutes " (chapter 375, Forty- fourth Statutes at Large, page 1401), be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows ~~ That the Libraria n of Con gress is hereby authorize d and di rected .
