Seawright, of the army of the United States, under the orders of the Secretary of War, for the loss of three horses, captured from them in an action with the Camanche and other Indians, on the Sante Fé trace, in the summer of one thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine, while giving convoy to a caravan of traders from United States to the Mexican dominions, under the orders of the President of the United States.
