Be it enacted, eye., That the benefits of the provisions of the act ActofMay 15, entitled "An act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers l)828» ¤hh53» *0 of the army of the revolution," passed May fifteenth, eighteen hundred hgfxwn ° *° and twenty-eight, be extended to Albert Pawling, a colonel in the revolutionary war ; and that he be paid and accounted with, in the same manner as if he had already complied with the requisitions of the fourth section thereof, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherproviso, wise appropriated: Provided, That in paying and accounting with the said Albert Pawling, any sums paid to him under the act of June seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, entitled "An act supplement- Act of June 7, ary to the ‘ act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers of 183% 6h- l26· the revolution} " be first deducted, and any further payments under the last mentioned act shall cease and be discontinued.
