Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior, upon application in writing, is authorized to sell, under applicable regulations, the homestead land contained in allotment numbered 1997 of William Big Day, described as the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter, the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter, and the west half of the southwest quarter, section four, township 6 south, range 31 east, Montana principal meridian, containing one hundred and sixty acres. AN ACT For the relief of George Blech and others.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the following members of the naval service the amounts listed opposite their names, representing amounts repaid by them to the United States to cover the costs of shipments of household effects, including packing, crating, drayage, and unpacking, from one residence or location to another residence or location in the same city or area, within the period from March 1, 1946, to January 31, 1949, which shipments at Government expense, although accomplished in good faith, have been held not to have been authorized: Blech, George, lieutenant (junior grade). United States Naval Reserve, $20.88; DuBois, Samuel W., captain. United States Navy, $226.25; Foley, Charles T., lieutenant commander. United States Navy, $122.20; Shaw, Willis A., lieutenant.
