CHAPTER 118 AN ACT For the relief of Leopold Kahn, Junior.

March 28, 1952 [S. 1255]

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Leopold Kahn, Junior, shall be held and considered to have been lawfulty admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee and head tax. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quotacontrol officer to deduct one number fiom the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. CHAPTER 119

AN ACT For the relief of Doctor Francis S. N. Kwok. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Doctor Francis S. N. Kw^ok, also known as Doctor Chew Nam Young, shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act upon payment of the required visa fee and head tax. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
