^^ ACT PQJ. ^jjg relief of Sisters Maria Salerno, Eufrasisa Binotto, Maria Ballatore, and Giovanna Buziol.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Amsrica in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Sisters Maria Salerno, Eufrasisa Binotto, Maria Ballatore, and Giovanna Buziol shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of enactment of Quota deductions, ^j^jg j^^^^ upon payment of the required visa fees and head taxes. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such aliens as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct four numbers from the appropriate quota for the first year or years that such quota is available. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of sections 4(a) and 9 of the Immigration Act of 1924, as amended, and notwithstanding the provisions of section 13(c) of that Act, the minor child Fumiko Higa, shall be held and considered to be the natural-born alien child of Richard James Gibbons, a citizen of the United States.
