rights and obligations of the United States and the city of Kupert under said contract shall not be in any way affected by such transfer: And provided further, That such conveyance shall be considered a purchase of said land for the purpose of, and as having been made within any time limitation prescribed in section 601(b) of Public 65 itat! IlL Law 849, Seventy-sixth Congress, as amended: Provided further, 42use 1581(b). That said lands shall be used for public purposes only. SEC. 2. Beginning at a point which is twenty-eight and seven-tenths feet north eighty-nine degrees fifty-four minutes east and one thousand one hundred and eighty feet north no degrees six minutes west of the quarter section corner of sections 20 and 29, township 9 south, range 24 east, Boise Meridian, Idaho, thence north eighty-nine degrees fiftyfour minutes east seven hundred and ten feet; thence north no degrees six minutes west one hundred and thirty-nine and eight-tenths feet; thence south eighty-nine degrees fifty-four minutes west seven hundred and ten feet; thence south no degrees six minutes east one hundred thirty-nine and eight-tenths feet to the point of beginning; containing two and twenty-eight one-hundredths acres, more or less. Beginning at a point which is forty feet south ho degrees three minutes east and one thousand one hundred ninety-one and threetenths feet south eighty-nine degrees fifty-four minutes west of the quarter section corner of sections 20 and 29, township 9 south, range 24 east, Boise Meridian, Idaho; thence south no degrees four minutes east two thousand five hundred seventy-nine and two-tenths feet; thence south eighty-nine degrees fifty-six minutes west seventy-five feet; thence north no degrees four minutes east two thousand five hundred seventy-nine and two-tenths feet; thence north eighty-nine degrees fifty-four minutes east seventy-five feet to the point of beginning; containing four and forty-four one-hundredths acres, more or less. The conveyance of this tract shall be subject to the right of the Minidoka irrigation district to pump and use the water collected in the drain located on the tract, and shall be conditioned upon the release of the United States from all responsibility for the maintenance of said drain.
