CHAPTER 983

Private Law 833

AN ACT For the relief of Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in the administration of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok, the fiancee of Daniel B. Hewlett, a citizen of the United States, shall be eligible for a visa as a nonimmigrant temporary visitor for a period of three months: Provided, That the administrative authorities find that the said Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok is coming to the United States with a bona fide intention of being married to the said Daniel B. Hewlett and that she is found otherwise admissible under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act other than the provision of section 212(a)(9) of that Act: Provided further, That this exemption shall apply only to a ground for exclusion of which the Department of State or the Department of Justice has knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act. In the event that the marriage between the above-named persons does not occur within three months after the entry of the said Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok, she shall be required to depart from the United States and upon failure to do so shall be deported in accordance with the provisions of sections 242 and 243 of the Immigration and Nationality Act. I n the event that the marriage between the above-named persons shall occur within three months after the entry of the said Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok, the Attorney General is authorized and directed to record the lawful admission for permanent residence of the said Rosa Marie Adelheid Herok as of the date of the payment by her of the required visa fee. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Thora June GrunuDles shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. CHAPTER 985 AN ACT For the relief of Mazal Kolman,

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Mazal Kolman shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee.
