Public Law 85-2 JOINT RESOLUTION January 18, 1957 [S. J. Res. 2] To extend the time for transmitting the economic report of the President for the first regular session of the Eighty-fifth Congress.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That notwithstanding the provisions of section 3(a) of the Employment Act of 1946, as amended (relating to the time for filing the economic report of the President), the economic report for the first regular session of the Eighty-fifth Congress shall be transmitted not later than January 23, 1957. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Public Law 954 of the Eighty-fourth Congress, approved August 3, 1956, entitled "An Act to provide for a President's Advisory Commission on Presidential Office Space" be amended as follows: I n the second sentence of section 1 strike out the words "within six months" and insert in lieu thereof the words "within ten months". AN ACT To amend the Small Business Act of 1953 to increase the amount available thereunder for business loans.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the fifth sentence of section 204(b) of the Small Business Act of 1953 is amended to read as follows: "Not to exceed an aggregate of $230,000,000 shall be outstanding at any one time for the purposes enumerated in section 207(a)." SEC. 2. Section 204(b) of such Act is further amended by striking out "$375,000,000" each place it appears and inserting in lieu thereof "$455,000,000". Approved February 11, 1957. Public Law 85-5

Boston National Historic Sites Commission.

Extending for one year the time in which the Boston National Historic Sites Commission shall complete its work.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That section 4 of the joint resolution entitled "Joint resolution to provide for investigating the feasibility of establishing a coordinated local, State, and Federal program in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, and general vicinity thereof, for the purpose of preserving the historic properties.
