AN ACT To authorize the eonveyaiu-e of a fee simple title to <-ertain lauds in the Territory of Alaska underlying war housing project Alaska-.jOOS3, and for other puriwses.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repve.sentatlrei^ of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Housing and Home Fiiuiiice Administrator is hereby authorized to convey, pursuant to the terms of the Act entitled "An Act to expedite the provisiou of housing in connection with national defense, and for other l)Hrposes", approved October 14, 1940, as amended, and notwithstanding any limitations or requirements of section 2 of the Act of May 14, 1898 (30 Stat. 409; 48 U. S, C. 411) or of any other law with respect to the use or disposition of lands of the United States in Alaska, a fee simple title to the lands or any part thereof underlying war housing project Alaska-50083 located in Juneau, Alaska, together with such easements in, over, through, or upon the adjacent tidal flats as may be necessary to continue the existing main sewer line to deep water. JOINT RESOLUTION Authorizing the President to invite the States of the Union and foreign countries to participate in the Second Annual United States World Trade Fair to be held in New York City, New York, from May 7 to May 17, 1958.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President of the United States is authorized^ by proclamation or in such other manner as he may deem proper, to invite the States of the Union and foreign countries to participate in the Second Annual United States World Trade F a i r to be held at the Coliseum, New York City, New York, from May 7 to May 17, 1958, inclusive, for the purpose of exhibiting merchandise and articles of trade and production; and the promotion of travel, tourism, and transportation; and for the purpose of bringing together buyers and sellers tor the promotion of foreign and domestic trade and commerce. Approved March 28, 1958.
