Whereas June 8, 1959, marks the one hundredth anniversary of the first significant discovery of silver in the United States at the Comstock Lode, Virginia City, State of Nevada: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate {the Home of Representatives concurring), That the Congress extends greetings and felicitations to the citizens of the State of Nevada, and particularly to the Nevada Centennial Committee, upon the occasion of their commemorative celebration of the one hundredth anniversary of the first significant discovery of silver in the United States. Agreed to August 16, 1958.

CORRECTION OF H. R. 13132

Resolved by the House of Representatives {the Senate concurring), That the Clerk of the House of Representatives, in the enrollment of the bill (H. R. 13132") to amend the District of Columbia Teachers' Salary Act of 1955, is authorized and directed— (1) in the amendment to section 4 of the Act of August 5, 1955 (House engrossed bill, page 6, line 18), to strike out "salary (]]ass and insert in lieu thereof "salary class"; (2) in the amendment to section 4 of the Act of August 5, 1955 (House engrossed bill, page 6, line 21), to strike out "possess" and insert "possesses"; (3) in the amendment to section 13 of the Act of August 5, 1955 (House engrossed bill, page 14), in the table, in Per diem
