For expenses necessary for the procurement, manufacture, and modification of missiles, armament, ammunition, military equipment, and vehicles for the Marine Corps, including purchase of not to exceed twenty passenger motor vehicles which shall oe for replacement only, $133,850,000, to remain available until expended. AIRCRAFT PROCUREMENT, A I R FORCE

For construction, procurement, and modification of aircraft, and equipment, including armor and armament, specialized ground handling equipment, and training devices, spare parts, and accessories therefor; specialized equipment; expansion of public and private plants. Government-owned equipment and installation thereof m such plants, erection of structures, and acquisition of land without regard to section 9774 of title 10, United States Code, for the foregoing purposes, and such land, and interests therein may be acquired and construction prosecuted thereon prior to the approval of title by the Attorney General as required by section 355, Revised Statutes, as amended; reserve plant and equipment layaway; and other expenses necessary for the foregoing purposes, including rents and transportation of things; $4,284,600,000, to remain available until expended, of which $2,900,000 shall be available solely for procurement for the Air National G u a r d: Provided, That during the current fiscal year there may be merged with this appropriation such amounts of the unobligated balances of appropriations previously granted for "Aircraft, missiles, and related procurement, and "Procurement other than aircraft and missiles", as the Secretary of Defense may determine to be necessary for the accomplishment of the programs for which this appropriation is made.
