the proposed home or facility or combined home and facility is to be located reasonable minimum standards of licensure and methods of operation governing it. No such mortgage shall be insured under this section unless the Secretary has received such assurance as he may deem satisfactory from the State agency that such standards will be applied and enforced with respect to any home or facility or combined home and facility located in the State for which mortgage insurance is provided under this section."; and (7) by adding at the end thereof the following new subsections: " (g) The Secretary shall prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this section relating to intermediate care facilities, after consulting with the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare with respect to any health or medical aspects of the program which may be involved in such regulations. " (h) The Secretary shall also consult with the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare as to the need for and the availability of intermediate care facilities in any area for which an intermediate care facility is proposed under this section." SEC. 112. Section 101(j)(1)(D) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965 is amended by inserting before the period at the end thereof a comma and the following: "except that the foregoing limitation may be increased to 40 per centum of the dwelling units in any such property if the Secretary determines that such increase is necessary and desirable in order to provide additional housing for individuals and families meeting the requirements of subsection (c)".

(a)(1) Section 203(b)(2) of the National Housing Act is 7i Stat. 295; amended by striking out "$30,000", "$32,500", and "$37,500" wherever ^^u^usJ no9. they appear and inserting in lieu thereof "$33,000", "$35,750", and "$41,250", respectively. (2) Section 203(h) of such Act is amended by striking out "$12,000" ^o Stat. 1092. and inserting in lieu thereof "$14,400". (3) Section 203(i) of such Act is amended by striking out "$13,500" 82 Stat. 512. and inserting in lieu thereof "$16,200". (4) Section 203(m) of such Act is amended by striking out "$15,000" 82 Stat. 512. and inserting in lieu thereof "$18,000".
