CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS-JULY 27, 1972

XXVTH CONGRESS OF THE INTERALLIED CONFEDERATION OF RESERVE OFFICERS Whereas the interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers (GIOK), an association of reserve officers from twelve of the nations comprising the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, will hold its X X V t h Congress at Washington, District of Columbia, August 7 through August 13, 1972; and Whereas the Reserve Officers Association of the United States and the Department of Defense will serve as joint hosts to such X X V t h Congress; and Whereas the United States, through the Department of Defense, will conduct military competitions in conjunction with and as a constituent part of such X X V t h Congress: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring)^ That the Cougress of the United States extends to the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers a cordial welcome to the United States on the occasion of the X X V t h Congress of that organization to be held in Washington, District of Columbia, August 7 through August 13, 1972, and commends the joint effort of the Reserve Officers Association of the United States and the Department of Defense in hosting the X X V t h Congress of that organization, and urge^ all departments and agencies of the Government to cooperate wnth and assist the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers in carrying out its activities and programs during the period referred to above.
