AMENDMENTS TO PUBLIC LAW 83-566.—The Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act (68 Stat. 666), as amended, is ^^^^ ^^'^ ^°°^ amended as follows: (a) Section 1 is amended by striking out the words "the purpose of preventing such damages and of furthering the conservation, development, utilization, and disposal of water, and thereby of preserving and protecting the Nation's land and water resources" and substituting therefor the words "the purpose of preventing such damages, of furthering the conservation, development, utilization, and disposal of water, and the conservation and utilization of land and thereby of preserving, protecting, and improving the Nation's land and water resources and the quality of the environment." (b) Section 2 is amended by substituting a comma for the word ^o Stat. loss.
