Public Law 93-305 AN ACT June 8, 1974 Making supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974, — [ H. R. 14 13J _^ and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the S^ermte and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following second suppiesums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not other- uons^i^t^^[97"r" wise appropriated, to supply supplemental appropriations (this Act may be cited as the "Second Supplemental Appropriations Act, 1974") for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974, and for other purposes, namely: TITLE I CHAPTER DEPARTMENT OF

AGRICULTURE

ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE

For an additional amount for "Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service", $3,730,000, of which $100,000 shall be for an evaluation of the effectiveness of the screwworm control program: Provided, That the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is authorized to establish and operate an English language school at Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, or to contract therefor without regard to the provisions of Revised Statutes, section 3648, as amended (31 U.S.C. 529), for children of employees of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service engaged in the Mexican-American Screwworm Program. FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICE CHILD N U T R I T I O N PROGRAMS

For an additional amount to carry out the National School Lunch Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1751-1761), and the applicable provisions other than section 3 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1773-1785), $86,500,000, to remain available until expended. FOOD STAMP PROGRAM

For an additional amount for "Food Stamp Program", $500,000,000, to remain available until expended. SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE WATERSHED AND FLOOD PREVENTION OPERATIONS

For an additional amount for "Watershed and flood prevention operations" for emergency measures for runoff retardation and soilerosion prevention, as authorized by section 216 of the Flood Control Act of 1950 (33 U.S.C. 701b-l), and to implement the provisions of section 5 of Public Law 93-251, $23,661,000, to remain available until expended.
