GOVEKNMENT PRINTING OFFICE PRINTING AND BINDING

For authorized printing and binding for the Congress; for printing and binding for the Architect of the Capitol; expenses necessary for preparing the semimonthly and session index to the Congressional Record, as authorized by law (44 U.S.C. 902); printing, binding, and distribution of the Federal Register (including the Code of Federal Regulations) as authorized by law (44 U.S.C. 1509, 1510); and printing and binding of Government publications authorized by law to be distributed without charge to the recipients; $80,000,000: Provided, That this appropriation shall not be available for printing and binding part 2 of the annual report of the Secretary of Agriculture (known as the Yearbook of Agriculture): Provided further, That this appropriation shall be available for the payment of obligations incurred under the appropriations for similar purposes for preceding fiscal years.

OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT OF DOCUMENTS SALARIES A N D EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Office of Superintendent of Documents, including compensation of all employees in accordance with the provisions of 44 U.S.C. 305; travel expenses (not to exceed $88,300): Provided, That expenditures in connection with travel expenses of the Depository Library Advisory Council shall be deemed necessary to carrying out the provisions of chapter 19 of title 44, United States Code; price lists and bibliographies; repairs to buildings, elevators, and machinery; and supplying books to depository libraries; %^%<dm,<dOO: Provided, That $222,000 of this appropriation shall be apportioned for use pursuant to section 3679 of the Revised Statutes, as amended (31 U.S.C. 665), with the approval of the Public Printer, only to the extent necessary to provide for expenses (excluding permanent personal services) for workload increases not anticipated in the budget estimates and which cannot be provided for by normal budgetary adjustments. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE REVOLVING F U N D

For payment to the "Government Printing Office revolving fund", $12,000,000, to remain available until expended, to provide additional working capital necessary for the support of normal operation of the revolving fund. The Government Printing Office is hereby authorized to make such expenditures, within the limits of funds available and in accord with the law, and to make such contracts and commitments without regard to fiscal year limitations as provided by section 104 of the Government Corporation Control Act, as amended, as may be necessary in carrying out the programs and purposes set forth in the budget for the current fiscal year for the "Government Printing Office revolving fund": Provided, That not to exceed $3,500 may be expended on the certification of the Public Printer in connection with special studies of governmental printing, binding, and distribution practices and procedures: Provided further. That during the current fiscal year the revolving fund shall be available for the hire of two passenger motor vehicles and the purchase of one passenger motor vehicle.
