OFFICIAL RESIDENCE OF THE VI C E PRESIDENT OPERATING EXPENSES

For the care, maintenance, repair and alteration, furnishing, improvement, heating and lighting, including electric power and fixtures, of the official residence of the Vice President, $315,000: Provided, That advances or repayments or transfers from this appropriation may be made to any department or agency for expenses of carrying out such activities. Xo part of any appropriation contained in this or any other Act for the regulatory functions of the Federal Energy Administration under authority of Public Law 9-J-159, shall be obligated or expended beyond the expiration date of that Act except with explicit approval of the appropriations committees. For necessary expenses of the National Commission on Productivity, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, and hire of passenger motor vehicles, $2,000,000. NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the National Security Council, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, $2,900,000. OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the Office of Management and Budget, including hire of passenger motor vehicles, and services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, $21,000,000. OFFK^E OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS POLICY SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the conduct of telecommunications functions assigned to the Director of the Office of Telecommunications policy, including hire of passenger motor vehicles, and services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, $8,450,000.
