For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the operation and maintenance of the A i r Force, as authorized by law; and not to exceed $2,556,000 can be used for emergencies and extraordinary expenses, to be expended on the approval or authority of the Secretary ©f the A i r Force, and payments may be made on his certificate of necessity for confidential military purposes; $9,243,000,000, of which not less than $592,200,000 shall be available only for the maintenance of lea] property facilities. For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the operation and maintenance of activities and agencies of the Department of Defense (other than the military departments and the Defense Civil Preparedness Agency), as authorized by law; $3,034,000,000: Provided, That not to exceed $3,716,000 can be used for emergencies and extraordinary expenses, to be expended on the approval or authority of the Secretary of Defense, and payments may be made on his certificate of necessity for confidential military purposes: Provided further, That not less than $52,500,000 of the total amount of this appropriation shall be available only for the maintenance of real property facilities: Provided further, That $968,600,000 shall be available only for the Defense Logistics Agency and $453,500,000 shall be available only for the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services. RESERVE

For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the operation and maintenance, including training, organization, and administration, of the Army Reserve; repair of facilities and equipment; hire of passenger motor vehicles; travel and transportation; care of the dead; recruiting; procurement of services, supplies, and equipment; and communications; $416,900,000, of which not less than $32,000,000 shall be available only for the maintenance of real property facilities. . . . OPERATION AND M A I N T E N A N C E, NAVY RESERVE

For expenses, not otherwise provided for. necessary for the operation and maintenance, including training, organization, and administration, of the Navy Reserve; repair of facilities and equipment; hire of passenger motor vehicles; travel and transportation; care of the dead; recruiting; procurement of services, supplies, and equipment; and communications; $382,900,000, of which not less than $15,400,000 shall be available only for the maintenance of real property facilities. OPERATION AND M A I N T E N A N C E, M A R I N E CORPS RESERVE

For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the operation and maintenance, including training, organization, and administration, of the Marine Corps Reserve; repair of facilities and equipment; hire of passenger motor vehicles; travel and t r a n s p o i t a t i o n; care of the dead; recruiting; procurement of services, supplies, and equipment; and communications; $19,900,000, of which not less than $1,200,000 shall bo available only for the maintenance of real property facilities.
