PUBLIC LAW 96-132—NOV. 30, 1979

GS-18 in the General Schedule under section 5332 of title 5, United States Code,"; (2) in subsection (d)(7), by striking out "September 30, 1980" and inserting in lieu thereof "March 1, 1981"; (3) in subsection (e)(1), by inserting after "detailed to the Commission" the following: "without reimbursement"; (4) in subsection (i), by striking out "$700,000" and inserting in lieu thereof "$2,450,000, to remain available until expended,"; and (5) by amending subsection (j) to read as follows: "(j) The Commission is authorized to procure temporary and intermittent services of experts and consultants as are necessary to the extent authorized by section 3109 of title 5, United States Code, but at rates not to exceed the daily equivalent of the rate then payable for grade GS-18 in the General Schedule under section 5332 of such title..
