SEC. 4. The Congress pledges its support for continued close relations with Parliamentarians from the European Community and, to this end, affirms its readiness to continue the semiannual discussions with the European Parliament on issues of common concern and to explore mutually beneficial measures for their improvement. SEC. 5. The Congress requests that the President forward a copy of this resolution to the President of the European Parliament, the President of the Community's Council of Foreign Ministers, and the President of the European Commission.
