Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, amendment. 2 USC 438.

"^o authorize appropriations for the Federal Election Commission for fiscal year 1981.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the second sentence of section 314 of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (2 U.S.C. 439c) is amended by striking out "and" after *1977," and by inserting after "1978" the following: ", and $9,400,000 (of which not more than $400,000 are authorized to be appropriated for the national clearinghouse function described in section 311(a)(10)) for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981". Approved May 29, 1980.
