Public Law 96-531 96th Congress An Act To provide that the park referred to as the East Lake Park located within the West Point Lake project on the Chattahoochee River, Georgia, shall hereafter be known and designated as the "R. Shaefer Heard Park".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the East Lake R Shaefer Park, located within the West Point Lake project on the Chattahoo- ^l^'^^^tfon' ^^' chee River, Georgia, shall hereafter be known and designated as the ®^^&"^ ^°^"R. Shaefer Heard Park". SEC. 2. Any reference in any law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to such park shall be deemed to be a reference to such park as the "R. Shaefer Heard Park". Approved December 15, 1980.
