PUBLIC LAW 97-115—DEC. 29, 1981 AMENDMENT TO HIGHER EDUCATION ACT OF 1965

SEC. 18. Section 439(1) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence: "The priority established in favor of the United States by section 3466 of the Revised Statutes (31 U.S.C. 191) shall not establish a priority over the indebtedness of the Association issued or incurred on or before September 30, 1982.". Approved December 29, 1981.
