Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United National Family States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is ^®®^ hereby authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designat- ing the week of November 20, 1983, through November 26, 1983, as "National Family Week", and inviting the Governors of the several States, the chief officials of local governments, and the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
