97 STAT. 956 PUBLIC LAW 98-147—NOV. 4, 1983 Public Law 98-147 98th Congress Joint Resolution Nov. 4, 1983 Designating the week of November 20, 1983, through November 26, 1983, as [S.J. Res. 45] "National Family Week". Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United National Family States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is ^®®^ hereby authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designat- ing the week of November 20, 1983, through November 26, 1983, as "National Family Week", and inviting the Governors of the several States, the chief officials of local governments, and the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
