Designating February 11, 1984, "National Inventors' Day '.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in honor of the important role played by inventors in promoting progress in the useful arts and in recognition of the invaluable contribution of inventors to the welfare of our people, February 11, 1984, is hereby designated "National Inventors' Day". The President is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States to celebrate such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities. Approved April 6, 1984.
