Public Law 98-488 98th Congress An Act Oct. 17, 1984 [H.R. 5513]

To designate the Delta States Research Center in Stoneville, Mississippi, as the "Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Delta States Research Center of the United States Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service, located in Stoneville, Mississippi, is hereby designated as the "Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center". Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to that center shall be deemed to be a reference to the "Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center". Approved October 17, 1984.
