Public Law 98-439 98th Congress An Act To authorize a land conveyance from the Department of Agriculture to Payson, Arizona.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of Agriculture is authorized to transfer, without consideration, to the town of Payson, Arizona, the following described parcel: A parcel of land entirely within the south half of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter, of section 5, township 10 north, range 10 east, Gila and Salt River base and meridian, Payson, Gila County, Arizona, more particularly described as follows: commencing at the common corner of sections 4, 5, 8, and 9, township 10 north, range 10 east, Gila and Salt River base and meridian; thence north 89 degrees 56 minutes west, along the south line of section 5, a distance of 164.47 feet to the true pbint of beginning; thence continuing north 89 degrees 56 minutes west, along the south line of section 5, a distance of 337.13 feet; thence north 13 degrees 33 minutes 08 seconds east, a distance of 223.16 feet, to a point on the south right-of-way line of West Main Street; thence south 74 degrees 10 minutes 23 seconds east, along the south right-of-way line of West Main Street, a distance of 145.02 feet; thence south 43 degrees 09 minutes east, along the south right-of-way line of West Main Street, a distance of 243.72 feet; thence north 89 degrees 56 minutes west, along the south right-of-way line of West Main Street, a distance of 21.36 feet, to the true point of beginning. The above described parcel of land contains 1.10 acres, more or less.
