COMPENSATION OF COMMANDANT OF THE COAST GUARD
SEC. 35. (a) Footnote 2 of the table entitled "COMMISSIONED OFFICERS" in section 101(b)(1) of the Uniformed Services Pay Act of 1981 (Public Law 97-60; 95 Stat. 990) is amended— 37 USC 1009 (1) by striking "or"; and note. (2) by inserting "or Commandant of the Coast Guard," immediately after "Corps,". (b) The first sentence of footnote 4 of the table in section 1401 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking "or"; and (2) by inserting "or Commandant of the Coast Guard," immediately after "Corps,". (c) The amendments made by this section shall become effective Effective date. on October 1, 1984. 10 USC 1401 note.
