Montdauphin village on a hill at the foreground, then the the Durance and at the background the mountains of Ailefroide, Pic Sans Nom and Mont Pelvoux. At the edge of the drawing there is indication of altitude in feet Aléfroide (now known as Ailefroide) (12,878?); Pic Sans Nom (12845) and the 2 peaks on Mont Pelvoux (12973) and (12920). The position of the Durance is also underlined by The Durance written on the left side of the drawing.
