WILTESCIRE.


The King has 26 meſſuages in the borough of Malmeſberie, and 25 other meſſuages, in which are tenements, that, conſiderd as waſte land, pay no taxes. Each of theſe houſes pay 10 pence rent, and altogether the ſum of [1]43 ſhillings and ſixpence. Half a ruined meſſuage, part of the fee of the Biſhop of Bayeux, does no ſervices. The Abbot of Malmeſberie has 4 meſſuages
