BJ (Ethics) is a bit of a difficult place to put Ethical Culture. My natural inclination was to put it in either BL (Religion) as it is a sort of quasi-religious but non-theistic movement that can rightfully be thought of as a stepping stone between traditional religion and freethinking/atheism, or indeed BLB (where Freethinking currently is). The Library of Congress Authorities site places the heading at BJ10.E8, while checking a few books on the topic at a variety of university theological libraries, it turns up at BP605.E84 (which is in 'Other beliefs and movements'). —Tom Morris (talk) 14:52, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
