	In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful.	Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
076:001	Was there not a time in the past when the human being was nothing to even be mentioned?	Hal ata AAala al-insani heenun mina alddahri lam yakun shay-an mathkooran
076:002	We have created the human from a seed that is mixed, We test him, so We made him hear and see.	Inna khalaqna al-insana min nutfatin amshajin nabtaleehi fajaAAalnahu sameeAAan baseeran
076:003	We have guided him to the path, either to be thankful or to reject.	Inna hadaynahu alssabeela imma shakiran wa-imma kafooran
076:004	We have prepared for the rejecters chains and collars and a blazing Fire.	Inna aAAtadna lilkafireena salasila waaghlalan wasaAAeeran
076:005	As for the pious, they will drink from a cup which has the scent of musk.	Inna al-abrara yashraboona min ka/sin kana mizajuha kafooran
076:006	A spring from which the servants of God drink, it gushes forth abundantly.	AAaynan yashrabu biha AAibadu Allahi yufajjiroonaha tafjeeran
076:007	They fulfill their vows, and they fear a Day whose consequences are wide-spread.	Yoofoona bialnnathri wayakhafoona yawman kana sharruhu mustateeran
076:008	And they give food out of love to the poor and the orphan and the captive.	WayutAAimona alttaAAama AAala hubbihi miskeenan wayateeman waaseeran
076:009	"We only feed you for the sake of God; we do not desire from you any reward or thanks."	Innama nutAAimukum liwajhi Allahi la nureedu minkum jazaan wala shukooran
076:010	"We fear from our Lord a Day, which will be horrible and difficult."	Inna nakhafu min rabbina yawman AAaboosan qamtareeran
076:011	So God shielded them from the evil of that Day, and He cast towards them a look and a smile.	Fawaqahumu Allahu sharra thalika alyawmi walaqqahum nadratan wasurooran
076:012	And He rewarded them for their patience with paradise and silk.	Wajazahum bima sabaroo jannatan wahareeran
076:013	They are reclining in it on raised couches, they do not have in it excessive sun nor bitter cold.	Muttaki-eena feeha AAala al-ara-iki la yarawna feeha shamsan wala zamhareeran
076:014	And the shade is close upon them, and the fruit is hanging low within reach.	Wadaniyatan AAalayhim thilaluha wathullilat qutoofuha tathleelan
076:015	And they are served upon with bowls of silver and glasses of crystal.	Wayutafu AAalayhim bi-aniyatin min fiddatin waakwabin kanat qawareera
076:016	Crystal laced with silver, measured accordingly.	Qawareera min fiddatin qaddarooha taqdeeran
076:017	And they are given to drink in it from a cup which has the scent of ginger.	Wayusqawna feeha ka/san kana mizajuha zanjabeelan
076:018	A spring therein which is called 'Salsabeel'.	AAaynan feeha tusamma salsabeelan
076:019	And they are encircled with eternal children. If you see them you will think they are pearls which have been scattered about.	Wayatoofu AAalayhim wildanun mukhalladoona itha raaytahum hasibtahum lu/lu-an manthooran
076:020	And if you look, then you will see a blessing and a great dominion.	Wa-itha raayta thamma raayta naAAeeman wamulkan kabeeran
076:021	They will have garments of fine green silk, and necklaces and bracelets from silver, and their Lord will give them a cleansing drink.	AAaliyahum thiyabu sundusin khudrun wa-istabraqun wahulloo asawira min fiddatin wasaqahum rabbuhum sharaban tahooran
076:022	"This is the reward for you, and your struggle is appreciated."	Inna hatha kana lakum jazaan wakana saAAyukum mashkooran

076:023	We have sent down to you the Quran in stages.	Inna nahnu nazzalna AAalayka alqur-ana tanzeelan
076:024	So be patient to the judgment of your Lord, and do not obey from them any sinner or rejecter.	Faisbir lihukmi rabbika wala tutiAA minhum athiman aw kafooran
076:025	And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening.	Waothkuri isma rabbika bukratan waaseelan
076:026	And from the night you shall prostrate to Him and praise Him throughout.	Wamina allayli faosjud lahu wasabbihhu laylan taweelan
076:027	These people like the current life, and they put behind them a heavy Day.	Inna haola-i yuhibboona alAAajilata wayatharoona waraahum yawman thaqeelan
076:028	We have created them, and We have made them strong. And if We wished, We would replace their kind completely.	Nahnu khalaqnahum washadadna asrahum wa-itha shi/na baddalna amthalahum tabdeelan
076:029	This is a reminder, so let whoever wills take a path to his Lord.	Inna hathihi tathkiratun faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi sabeelan
076:030	And you cannot will, except if God wills. God is Knowledgeable, Wise.	Wama tashaoona illa an yashaa Allahu inna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman
076:031	He admits whom He wills to His mercy. And as for the wicked, He has prepared for them a painful retribution.	Yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi waalththalimeena aAAadda lahum AAathaban aleeman
