Establishing Krong Pinang District, Yala Province,
2547 BE

Given on the 23rd day of September 2547 BE
Being the 59th year of the present reign

Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paramin Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej gives a great royal command by which He orders with His pleasure that it be announced as follows:

Whereas it is appropriate to establish an additional district in the area of Yala province for the sake of the administration and the convenience of people;

Therefore, by virtue of the powers under the stipulations of section 221 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand and section 61, paragraph 2, of the Act on Rules for Public Administration of the State, 2534 BE, He orders with His gracious pleasure that the following Royal Decree be enacted:

Section⁠1.⁠This Royal Decree is called the "Royal Decree Establishing Krong Pinang District, Yala Province, 2547 BE".

Section⁠2.⁠This Royal Decree shall come into force from the day following the day of its publication in the Royal Gazette onwards.

Section⁠3.⁠Krong Pinang minor district, Mueang Yala district, Yala province, shall be elevated to[1] Krong Pinang district, Yala province.

Section⁠4.⁠The territory of Krong Pinang district shall correspond to the territory of the former Krong Pinang minor district, which shall be separated from the territory of Mueang Yala district, Yala province, whose administrative territory used to cover Krong Pinang minor district.

​Section⁠5.⁠The Minister of Interior shall be in charge of the execution of this Royal Decree.

Note: The grounds for promulgation of this Royal Decree are as follows: Whereas Krong Pinang minor district, Mueang Yala district, Yala province, encompasses a vast area with crowded communities and trading gatherings of which the conditions have been much more developed than before, it is appropriate to elevate it to a district, for the sake of the administration, the provision of services by the State, and the convenience of people, and for the promotion of local development. It is therefore necessary to enact this Royal Decree.
