First notes[edit]

This text is of Articles of Impeachment against Samuel Kent, a US District Court Judge in Texas. I'm adding this to Wikisource as this is historic as no US Federal Judge has been close to being impeached in 20 years. This text is currently as it was introduced in the House. As stated above, the text could change as it goes though Congress. As for the title, I tried to think of one that wasn't US centric and specific as there are many Judges in the US. I also plan to proof-read this if it hits the Congressional Record. I also intend to update the text if it passes the House. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, feel free to post here. Also feel free to jump in and make this text great! Hoshie (talk) 02:49, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
