Spelling issues[edit]

I noted some American spellings in this piece — "defenses" and "armored", which I assume ought to be "defences" and "armoured", respectively. Are these oversights? Is there any reason not to fix them? (The fact that the text appears to have been copied from an American web site doesn't seem to be sufficient reason to keep these spellings; or is it?)

Also, in the fourth paragraph from the end, the phrase "for all that Britain is, and all the Britain means" should presumably say "all that Britain means"; does anyone disagree? Richwales (talk) 21:20, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
