Translation talk:Galatians
Rough Draft Done![edit]
Here is the rough draft. It's 100% my own. I feel good about the translation but I am sure there are a number of typos in it. It would be best of someone else proofread it, since I am horrible at proofreading my own work.
In case anyone is wondering, I bascially used three tools:
- My bible is:
The Greek New Testament, United Bible Societies' Third, Corrected Edition.
I'm aware there is a Fourth edition but for my skill level, I'm sure the Third is fine.
- I relied heavily on my most enduring favorite reference tool:
Reinecker, Fritz & Cleon Rogers, "Linguistic Key to the Greek news Testament" (1980, Zondervan, Grand Rapids, Michigan.)
- And my dictionary was
Newman, Barklay M. Jr, "A Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament" (1971, United Bible Societies, Stuttgard, Germany)

I don't really know about that. I found this here and kind of adopted it. I'm the only one actively working on it, to my knowledge but I've been doing some promotion and I have a few nibbles of interest. I think I'll get some others.
Anyway, if you think it should be moved, let's move it.

For better-or-for worse, I have migrated this whole project to
* Bible (Free) * Bible (Free)/book
' Which is consistent, with these other two bibles:
* Bible (King James) * Bible (World English)
If someone thinks this is wrong, please say! I don't know much about how these things should be made, so I just went off the other bibles. --cAlan 13:15, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Is there someway to use footnotes? I would like to make it so that "as it is written" quotations have links to the Old Testament where it was quoted from--68.106.234.100 09:03, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
