[edit] License?

What is the license for this text? The source mentioned in the page history [1] now says page not found, but the text can be found in another place on the same site with "Copyleft 2006 WSF India" at the bottom of the page. I don't think that is the original source, since tha Charter says "APPROVED AND ADOPTED IN SÃO PAULO, ON APRIL 9, 2001, BY THE ORGANISATIONS THAT MAKE UP THE WORLD SOCIAL FORUM ORGANIZATING COMMITTEE, APPROVED WITH MODIFICATIONS BY THE WORLD SOCIAL FORUM INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL ON JUNE 10, 2001". It does not seem unlikely that the text is free, but is thera a more exact copyleft license? /81.234.249.233 22:24, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

archive.org says roughly the same thing but without the Copyleft part. Copyleft means that it is permissible to copy it, however I cant see what license terms they are using. I suggest emailing them and asking them. John Vandenberg (chat) 01:50, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I put this text here is the first place. The authoritative source is now http://www.forumsocialmundial.org.br/main.php?id_menu=4&cd_language=2 . For me it is obvious from the context that this text is intended to be copied freely. Forthermore, it is a historical document even though it is not old. What kind of license would you call this? Do we really need to contact the webmaster? He or she might be prepared to put that site under a CC or other free license, but aren't we asking too much? Contacting the original authors is nearly impossible because I think there were many of them, and from all over the world. --Thüringer 08:54, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
