looking at the page on tennyson, it explains that his son's biography claims that tennyson was not christian. However, the line: "I hope to see my Pilot face to face" seems to me to suggest an encounter with God? especially with the capitalisation of "P". Perhaps i've misinterpreted the meaning. What do other people think?
